Learned to film the sky with my phone taped to cheap binoculars, got way more than I expected
I was getting nothing but blurry dots trying to shoot the sky over my apartment in El Paso, so I rubber banded my phone to a $30 pair of 10x50 binoculars and it actually worked. Last Tuesday around 11pm I caught three dots moving in a straight line, no blinking lights, gone in about 8 seconds. Has anyone else tried the binocular phone trick, and did you get better results with a tripod or just holding it steady?
