My night vision recorder glitched during that big storm and I lost a whole sighting.

I was out in my backyard in rural Ohio about two weeks ago trying to film some weird lights I kept seeing near the treeline. My camera rig was on a tripod with night vision and I had it recording for almost 45 minutes straight. Then the power flickered and the whole thing just shut down without saving anything. When I turned it back on the file was corrupted and all I got was a black screen. I tried using a recovery tool but it only pulled back grainy noise. It really bummed me out because I saw these three orange orbs moving in a triangle pattern before the glitch. Has anyone else had gear fail on them right when something good was happening?

Funny how the universe always picks the worst moments to glitch out on you.

And it's always right when you're already running late or carrying something heavy, isn't it? Like the universe saves up all its little chaos for when you're least prepared lol.

Oh come on, is it really that deep? I've dropped my keys and spilled coffee plenty of times and it just feels like a normal Tuesday, not some cosmic plot against me. Maybe we just remember the bad stuff more because it's annoying, but the universe isn't sitting there with a remote control waiting to push the wrong button. If anything, I think we're just clumsy and unlucky sometimes, and that's okay.
