People keep calling the Phoenix lights a mass hallucination and it drives me nuts

I was there in March 1997, standing in my backyard with my dad. We saw those huge silent triangles move across the sky for what felt like forever. Now I see folks online, who weren't even born then, saying it was just flares or military planes. The official story changed three times in two weeks, from 'nothing' to 'flares' to 'we don't know.' If it was a simple test, why the cover-up? I've seen jets my whole life near Luke AFB, and this was nothing like that. It matters because dismissing real evidence makes the whole topic look like a joke. Has anyone else who saw it that night noticed how the story keeps getting twisted?

Three different stories in just two weeks is wild.

Honestly, I used to think that was normal until I saw how it messed with the facts. Tbh @diana_kim66 you're right, it is wild. It makes it so hard to know what's really going on. I changed my mind because it just feels like they're trying to confuse people on purpose. Now I wait a few days to see which story actually sticks.

It's a smart way to handle it. The waiting game is the only way to get a clear picture anymore.
