Still not sure if that night at Devils Tower was real or just a dream

I was camping near Devils Tower in Wyoming back in June and saw three lights moving in a triangle pattern that suddenly shot straight up and vanished. My buddy swears it was military drones testing new tech but the way they moved felt way too smooth for anything man made. What do you think, are these sightings ever just high altitude balloons or is there something actually weird going on?

Those three lights moving in unison and then shooting straight up doesn't sound like anything the military would let us see, so I'd lean toward it being something else entirely. You probably saw what you think you saw, because our minds don't make up that kind of precise, smooth motion on their own.

Claim I was just trying to find my keys in the dark and accidentally summoned a UFO with my bad luck. But honestly the smooth movement and sudden vertical exit sounds way too precise for some drone I'd see at a Walmart parking lot. Maybe it's just me but I'd take that memory to my grave as something real.

Angela I feel you. Once I lost my keys for three hours and when I finally found them they were in my hand the whole time, so if a UFO showed up for my bad luck, it would probably just be a traffic cone with Christmas lights taped to it.
