The night I saw three orbs over Phoenix and it still bothers me
I was out in my backyard in Phoenix around 2 AM back in March 2019, just looking at stars after a late shift. Then I saw three orange orbs moving in a perfect triangle pattern across the sky, no sound at all. They glided slow and steady, then just vanished one by one without fading like a plane would. I checked flight radar on my phone and there was nothing in that area for miles. My neighbor came out too and saw the same thing, we both just stood there confused for like 10 minutes. I still can't explain it and I think about that night way too often. Has anyone else seen orbs that move like that and then just disappear?

Did the orbs seem to react to anything while you were watching them?

March 2019 is an important detail. I remember that time period in Phoenix because there was a lot of military activity going on. Luke Air Force Base runs drills all the time, and they use flares and decoy systems that can look just like orange orbs. I lived near there for years, and I saw similar things a few times. They drop these flares that float down in patterns, then they burn out one by one without any sound. Your neighbor seeing it too doesn't rule that out either, since a lot of people can see the same military exercise. I'm not saying you didn't see something strange, but there is a very normal explanation for those three orbs that night.

Your point about Luke Air Force Base drills is spot on, I had a buddy who lived in Glendale back then and he swore the same thing about the flares. He was out walking his dog one night saw a string of silent orange lights and showed me some cell phone footage that honestly looked EXACTLY like what you're describing. He was a total skeptic about UFOs but even he admitted those military decoys can be pretty trippy to watch.
