Appreciation post: The anime section at the Akihabara Mandarake was a total mess
I was there last Tuesday and the organization was so bad you couldn't find anything specific, just piles of random series mixed together. Has anyone else seen a store let their catalog get this chaotic?

Oh man, you're not kidding. I went to that exact location a few months back and gave up after twenty minutes of digging. It was just stacks of DVDs in no order at all, like someone just emptied boxes onto the shelves. Felt more like a storage unit than a store you could actually shop in. Really surprising for a place with that name, you know?

Skip the main shelves and head straight for the new arrival bins by the register. That's where they dump the good stuff before it gets lost in the mess. I found a sealed copy of an old anime series there last week. The rest of the place is hopeless unless you want to waste your whole day.
