I used to just jump into any anime thread and post, now I check the vibe first
For years, if I saw a post about an anime I liked, I would just type my thoughts and hit send. I ended up in a lot of pointless fights, like a big one last month in a thread about 'Attack on Titan' where I argued with someone for three pages about a single character choice. It was a waste of time and made the whole forum feel bad. Now, I read the first ten comments before I post anything. I look to see if people are just sharing cool ideas or if they are looking for a fight. If the talk is already mean, I just close the tab. This small change, which I started doing about six months ago, has made talking about shows way more fun. I spend my time in threads where people actually want to chat, not win. How do you pick which discussions to join in on?
