Bought the $150 box set for the old Trigun anime. Kinda regret it now.

Found it online, thought it was a good deal for the whole series. The picture quality is really bad, like old DVD bad. Anyone know a better way to watch the original show?

The original series is on Blu-ray now (way better quality).

Yeah @sanchez.mary, the Blu-ray is a total game changer. I finally watched the pilot again and you can actually see all the detail in the costumes now, like the stitching on the jackets. The old DVD transfer made everything look like a muddy mess, especially in the dark scenes. It's like watching it for the first time.
