DAE accidentally spoil a huge anime plot twist for a friend?
I was at a coffee shop last week and totally let slip that a main character dies in Attack on Titan's final season to my buddy who was only on season 2. I immediately bought him a boba tea as an apology and we set up a strict 'no spoilers' rule for our group chat now. Anyone else have a good way to make up for a spoiler blunder?

Man, that is the WORST feeling. The boba tea was a solid move, a true peace offering. My friend still hasn't forgiven me for blurting out a major One Piece reveal during a movie night. Setting a group chat rule is smart, we had to do the same thing. It's like your brain short circuits and the words just fall out. The guilt is real.

I used to think a simple sorry was enough, but "the guilt is real" made me see real amends are needed.

Yeah, the brain short circuit is real. I did something similar with a video game ending. I just took over their Netflix queue for a month, paid for it and picked shows I knew they'd like but hadn't seen. It was the only thing that felt like a real trade.

The Netflix queue idea is a good one, but it only works if you know their taste perfectly. A safer bet is just buying them the next season or a game expansion they want. That way you're directly replacing the spoiled story with more of it.
