Hit 100 completed shows on my list yesterday and the number bothered me way more than I expected
Honestly I always thought the people counting their finished anime were just doing it for bragging rights, but I pulled up my list app on Sunday and saw 100 sitting there and it threw me off. I started watching in 2019 at a friend's place in Denver, and most of those are 12 episode shows I knocked out in two nights each. What got me was realizing maybe 15 of them stuck with me at all, the rest I couldn't even describe the plot of now. So did I change how I pick shows, or do I just have a short memory and it doesn't matter?
The fact that only 15 stuck with you is normal and fine, who cares if you can't recall the plot of some random 12 episode show you binged two years ago. Not every show needs to be a life changing thing, some are just a fun way to kill a weekend and that's a good enough reason to watch.
