Hot take: My stance on anime spoilers turned around after a silly error
I always avoided spoilers like the plague for any show. Then I messed up and saw a huge reveal for 'Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood' in a comment section. Catching the twist early helped me notice all the clever setup in the first season. I guess sometimes knowing a bit can make you watch closer.

With Attack on Titan, I clicked on a spoiler thread about Eren by mistake. Catching that early let me spot all the hidden hints in season one. Now I don't panic as much about spoilers.

Clicking on spoilers by mistake is rough, but I like how it helped you catch the hints.

Man, that happened to me with One Piece. I saw a spoiler about a certain character's past way early. It totally changed how I watched those early episodes, because I could spot all the little clues they left. It makes you realize how much planning goes into these stories.

A podcast I listen to said spoilers can actually make you enjoy a story more sometimes. It lets you focus on the craft instead of just the plot.
