I watched the new 'Monster' anime with my friend who hates slow burns
I told him it was a slow burn but he gave up after 4 episodes, then I binged the rest and it's now my favorite show. How do you get someone to stick with a slow story when they're used to fast action?

Some people just don't have the patience for slow stories, and that's okay.

Totally agree with you @margaretramirez! It took me three tries to get through a famous slow-burn book everyone loves. Sometimes my brain just needs things to happen faster, you know? Giving yourself permission to put a slow story down is so freeing. Not every story is for every person, and that's fine!
