Just compared two ways to talk about the new season of Demon Slayer...

I was in a Discord server where we just listed our hot takes, and then in a different forum where we had to back up opinions with a specific scene. The second one was way better because someone actually changed my mind about the animation in episode 3. Which style of discussion do you guys prefer for big shows?

Backing it up with a scene is the move, like @spencer400 said about that movie ending. Otherwise it's just noise.

Honestly, the second style where you have to back up your opinion is so much better. Tbh I was in a chat about a different show where everyone just kept saying "it's mid" with no reasons. Then one person broke down a whole fight scene shot by shot and I totally saw it differently. Just listing hot takes gets boring and nobody learns anything. Having to point to a specific scene makes people actually think about what they watched.

Exactly, that's how real talk happens.
