That "complete anime history" thing sounds like a scam from the start... What does it even claim to cover, like all of anime from the 1960s to now or just the big mainstream shows? I bet it's mostly just a few pages on Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon with a bunch of filler about modern stuff like Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer... I'd want to know if it actually dives into the early OVA boom or the golden age of Ghibli, or if it's just a glossy catalog of Funimation releases... Does it even mention shows like Legend of the Galactic Heroes or Area 88, the kind that don't get talked about much anymore?

Hard pass on that thing. Those ebay encyclopedias are always just slapped together wikipedia printouts with bad scans. If it doesn't have actual interviews or behind the scenes stuff from the people who made the shows, it's just a cash grab. Save your sixty bucks for a Crunchyroll sub and a real book.
