Blew $340 on a pole saw attachment that lasted 2 jobs before the chain shot off
Saw a demo at the Pacific NW arborist expo in Tacoma last spring and the guy swore this thing would replace my hand saw for anything under 4 inches. Took it up a 60 foot Doug fir on my third job and the chain derailed and wrapped itself around the sprocket, and I had to finish the whole top with a Silky. The dealer told me it was "operator error" and wouldn't refund me. Anyone found a pole saw setup that actually holds up past a season, or should I just go back to climbing with the handsaw?
