My throwline cube finally gave out after 9 years

Last Tuesday in the middle of a removal over on Maple Street, the seam on my throwline cube split wide open and spilled about 80 feet of line into the crotch of the tree. I had to climb with a spare bag just to get the line back down, which added a solid 40 minutes to the job. Has anyone else had a throwline bag fail like this, or am I just unlucky with the older models?
