Showerthought: Some tree saves feel like a slow-motion victory
Tbh, I had a client's oak that needed careful work over three seasons to pull through. Honestly, watching it slowly get better each year was way more satisfying than a quick chop-down. How do you deal with the slow pace of recovery jobs?

Wait, that took three whole seasons?

You know, I felt the same way at first! I was ready to give up after season one, but my buddy made me stick with it. It's like what juliarodriguez said about building a whole world, but they needed those extra seasons to really dig into the city's other parts, like the docks and the schools. The slow build makes the final seasons hit so much harder. I'm glad I didn't quit.

@ivan_murphy80, it had to build slowly. The writers were setting up a bigger payoff later. Rushing it would have ruined the ending. Some shows drag things out, but this one needed the time. You see this a lot in shows with long stories.

Honestly, The Wire built a whole world in one season without dragging.
