Took me 8 years to switch from rope and saddle to a bucket truck on residential jobs

I used to spend 45 minutes setting up my climbing line for a simple dead oak removal in a backyard, but after renting a 50 foot bucket truck for a job in Oak Park last month, I knocked it out in under 2 hours and my back didn't hate me the next day, has anyone else made the switch and found it worth the rental cost?

Spend the rental savings on a massage and call it even.

Wait are we really acting like a mortgage is some magical money printer now, lol. Yeah you build equity but you also gotta deal with repairs, taxes, and all that other crap that eats into your savings anyway. Not everyone's gotta make everything so deep, sometimes a massage is just a massage.

I get what you're saying, but a massage doesn't really fix the bigger picture for me. Buying a home is a long-term move that builds equity, and that savings from renting just isn't the same as owning something that can grow in value. I'd trade a free massage for a mortgage payment any day.
