Used to love my Stihl chainsaw until I got a Husqvarna last fall

I ran Stihl for 12 years and swore by them, but after trying my buddy's Husqvarna 550 XP on a big oak removal in Richmond, I switched. The balance and power delivery just feel better to me anyone else have a brand swap they regret or don't?

Wait you ran Stihl for 12 years and just switched? Thats a long time to stick with one brand. I'd be scared to change after that long honestly.

My buddy Dave ran Echo for almost 15 years before he grabbed a Stihl 462 last spring, now he says he wasted a decade and a half.

Did Dave ever have any specific problems with the Echo or was it more of a 'you don't know what you're missing' kind of thing? I ask because I've run a 590 for about six years and it's been solid, but I'm always curious if the power-to-weight difference really shows up that much in daily cutting or if it's mostly in the firewood pile.
