Finally stopped fighting with seized bleeder screws after trying this one thing
Tried heating, impact, and every extractor in my box for 20 minutes on a rusty F-150 caliper, then a buddy said to smack the screw straight on with a punch before turning and it broke loose first try, anyone else had that work on parts that look totally welded together?

The punch trick saved me on a Jeep Liberty caliper that looked like it came from the Titanic. I gave the screw a solid whack with a center punch and a hammer, then hit it with a quick back and forth twist using a six point socket. Broke free like it was nothing after I'd soaked it in PB Blaster the night before. Now I always give bleeder screws a couple of sharp taps before I even reach for the wrench, saves me a whole lot of cussing.
