I learned to always check the glove box after a customer in Boise brought in a 'rattling' sedan with a pet hamster in a plastic ball.

The little guy was just rolling around under the passenger seat, and now I ask every single person if they've lost a small animal before I start a test drive.

Honestly that's a new one. Most of the time the glove box just has old fries. Good call making it part of the routine now.

My buddy found 3 snakes in a console once, wilder than @nancyg14's geckos.

Yeah that's a good point from @bennett.harper about the fries, I've found some truly ancient fast food in there. Once I opened a glove box and a whole family of those little gecko lizards just scattered everywhere. Took us like an hour to round them all up.
