Looked at my work log and realized I've done over 300 brake fluid flushes

I was cleaning out my old service tickets from the garage and started counting them up... it's a lot more than I ever thought. I guess after 8 years it just adds up, but seeing that exact number felt weird. It made me think about how many cars I've actually kept safe on the road. Anyone else ever get surprised by a count like that?

That number really puts it in perspective, doesn't it? I had a similar moment last year adding up all the timing belts I'd done. It's wild when you stop and actually count the work. You don't think about it day to day, but that's hundreds of cars you've kept from having a major failure. Makes a dirty job feel pretty good.

Forget the cars for a second, @pat_moore. Think about all the people those cars carried. Families on road trips, folks getting to work. Your greasy hands kept a lot of normal days from turning into real bad ones. That's the real count that matters.

So how many of those families tipped you with a cold beer?
