That "lifetime" coolant you're putting in isn't lifetime
I cracked open a 2015 Ford F-150's water pump last week and found the blue stuff had turned to sludge after 80k miles, so who's actually checking their coolant at 100,000 miles like manufacturers say we should?

My buddy has a 2015 F-150 and he never touched the coolant. Around 90k miles he started getting a weird smell in the cab and found the coolant tank was full of brown gunk. Cost him a grand to flush the whole system and replace the thermostat. You ever just peek at your coolant color when you pop the hood?
