The time a customer insisted their car was haunted
Last month a woman brought in her 2012 Honda Civic saying the radio would turn on by itself at night. She was dead serious it was ghosts because it only happened after 10 PM. I finally figured out the clock was set wrong and the timer function was kicking on the radio at what it thought was morning. Has anyone else had customers jump to supernatural conclusions over something simple?

Had a woman once who swore her fridge was possessed because it kept making loud popping sounds in the middle of the night. Turned out the ice maker was just cycling and the sound was echoing through her old kitchen pipes. She was so embarrassed when I showed her the manual that she brought me cookies the next week.

lol "possessed" fridge that's wild. I actually saw this thing on reddit once where someone said their smart fridge was making weird noises and they thought it was haunted too. Turns out it was just the defrost cycle and the compressor kicking on. But what got me is your story - she brought you cookies. That's the kind of customer you hope for. Most people just get mad at the fridge and blame you for it. I swear some folks think appliances are out to get them personally.

Damn, she brought cookies? That's rare. Did she still act weird around the car after you fixed it, like she wasn't totally convinced?
