Just learned our onboarding email sequence had a 23% click rate drop after we changed one button color

We switched a CTA button from blue to green last quarter and nobody noticed the dip until I pulled the analytics yesterday. Has anyone else seen tiny UI changes completely tank email performance without warning?

Made a similar swap once and @aaron740 is right, green just blended into the background for our crowd.

Yeah, color contrast and button visibility matter more than people think.

Aw man, I gotta push back a little here. Honestly, I think people overhype button contrast way too much. Like, if your design is clean and the layout makes sense, users will find the button even if it's not screaming at them. We switched to a softer green that blended a bit and our conversions actually went up because it felt less aggressive. Maybe it depends on your audience, but I've seen simple work way better than high contrast stuff.
