My payment webhook silently ate 400 transactions, support found it in 10 minutes
Our Stripe webhook started returning 500s without logging anything last Tuesday. Turns out a cert expired at 3am and every retry just hit the same wall, so 400 customer payments got stuck in limbo. I only caught it because billing support asked why their dashboard showed zero activity for two days. Has anyone else had silent webhook failures that didn't trigger any alert?

Man, I used to think webhooks were basically fire and forget, but this one got my attention.
