Spent 3 hours debugging a Zapier webhook that was failing silently

I was trying to sync new CRM leads into our accounting software and kept getting missing data errors. Turns out Zapier was truncating a custom field ID because the field name had a typo from 6 months ago that I never noticed. Anyone else waste a full afternoon on something this dumb?

Read an article in a newsletter a few weeks back that said something like 80% of automation bugs are just from small screw ups in field names or formatting, not the actual logic. Your story fits right into that category. Three hours is rough, but at least you found it, some people would have just started from scratch. Probably worth running a quick audit on your other Zaps now to make sure you don't have other time bombs hiding in there.
