Switched to API-based invoicing and cut my billing cycle from 5 days to 2 hours
I used to manually generate invoices in Stripe for each client every month, taking up half my workweek. Then I built a simple Zap to pull from our CRM and push to Xero via their API, and now it runs on autopilot. Has anyone else automated a tedious ops process and seen a similar time savings? I would love to share notes on edge cases like prorations.

Man, now I feel bad for manually copy-pasting invoices like some kind of digital peasant.

Haha "digital peasant" yeah that's me too. I spent three hours last week manually matching invoices to bank statements. Felt like I was using a typewriter in a spreadsheet world. My buddy showed me a script that does it in ten seconds. Made me question my whole life choices. But hey, at least we know every single number by heart now right?

Those three hours are gone forever man. What did your buddy use for the script? I've been looking at Power Query in Excel but it feels like learning a second language. @reese_hayes71 you and me both, I still catch myself right-clicking copy like it's 2005. The worst part is knowing that ten second script probably saves more time per month than I spend on coffee breaks.
