My offset smoker door hinge gave out mid-brisket in Nashville
Had a 14 pound packer going overnight and the hinge pin slid loose around 3 AM, door sagged and killed my temp control for an hour. Grabbed a spare bolt and some washers from my truck toolbag, shimmed it up, and it held till the stall passed. Anyone else keep spare hardware on hand for late night failures, or do you just babysit the thing?
