Traded my $80 drill rig for a hand auger this season

Used to run a gas auger for all my post holes, but after ive done 30+ holes by hand this spring I can feel exactly where the clay shifts, and it honestly cooks better on the pit too. Any other old timers ditch the power tools just to get a better feel for the burn?
