Can we talk about the worst week I ever had building wheels?
Last Tuesday I was lacing a set of 32 spoke rims for a customer and everything went wrong. First I snapped two spokes on the same wheel because I got the tension wrong. Then my truing stand somehow slipped out of alignment and I didn't notice till I had the wheel almost perfect. Had to start over from scratch. Lost about 6 hours total on one pair of wheels. Customer was fine waiting but I was ready to throw the whole stand out the window. What was your worst wheel build day and what happened?

Hmm, I've always found that kind of frustration usually comes down to rushing or not having the right prep, your mileage may vary though. Snapping spokes is rough, but I've had way worse luck trying to save time than just going slow and double checking everything from the start.
