Hit 500 bike builds last month and it messed with my head a bit

I've been wrenching for about 6 years and I never kept count until a customer asked how many bikes I'd built. I checked my old shop logs and added it up, landed right at 500. That number made me realize how many little tricks I've picked up without even thinking about them, like aligning derailleur hangers by feel. Has anyone else hit a milestone like that that surprised you?

Maybe it's just me but @the_rowan and I can spot a stripped bolt from across the parking lot like some kind of bike whisperers.

That's a cool milestone. For me it was when I realized I could spot a stripped bolt from three feet away without even thinking about it.
