Overheard a guy at the co-op say he bleeds his disc brakes with a turkey baster
Is that actually a thing or was he just messing with me because I asked about his weird hose setup?

Wait, isn't a turkey baster basically just a big syringe like mechanics use?

Remember grabbing my dad's turkey baster out of the drawer when I was a kid to use as a water gun in the bathtub. Worked great until I got soap in the bulb and it wouldn't squeeze right anymore. He was pretty mad when he tried to use it on the Thanksgiving bird and it just dribbled soapy water everywhere. Have you ever accidentally ruined a kitchen tool by using it for something completely different?
