Snapped a rear derailleur hanger bolt mid-shift on a customer's Tuesday commuter, fixed it with a hanger I had in the junk drawer
The guy rolled in Tuesday morning with a 2016 Trek FX and the hanger bolt sheared clean off right at the dropout, so I dug through my coffee can of spare hangers and found one that matched within a millimeter. Told him $15 for the part and 20 minutes of labor, and he looked at me like I'd just saved his whole week. Any of you keep a sorted hanger stash, or do you just order per bike and eat the wait time?

Saw a thread on r/bikewrench where a shop keeps hangers in labeled pill bottles by dropout number, which sounds way better than my coffee can.
