Used a fork alignment gauge on a rusty beater, surprise result
Honestly, I had this old 90s mountain bike frame sitting in my garage for like 2 years. I finally got around to checking the fork with a Park Tool alignment gauge I borrowed from a buddy in Portland. Turns out the legs were off by 4mm, which explains why the front tire always wore weird on one side. I never bothered with these gauges before, but after 20 minutes of careful bending, the wheel tracks dead straight now. Has anyone else had a bent fork that looked fine by eye but was totally off once you measured it?
