I used to think generic drugs were always the same as name brand. Not anymore.

I had a bad reaction to a generic blood pressure med from CVS last month, even though the name brand version worked fine for me for 2 years. Turns out my pharmacy switched manufacturers without telling me, and the filler ingredients were totally different. Has anyone else had a generic fail on them because of the inactive stuff, not the actual drug?

You ever notice how nothing seems to be built the same way it used to be? Same thing happens with tools and parts for my work, cheaper replacements break faster than the originals. Feels like the whole world is cutting corners and calling it good enough.
