I read a study saying 78% of people trust a brand more after reading custom content, not just ads

Found this stat in a report from the Content Marketing Institute while I was researching for a client project in Austin. It made me realize we might be focusing too much on pushing products instead of building that trust. How do you actually measure if your content is building that kind of trust, or is it just a feeling?

Look for repeat visitors and longer time spent on your pages. Those are real signs people are coming back for your content, not just a quick click. It takes time, but you can see the change in your site stats.

Check the fine print on that stat. It's about people who already seek out and read custom content, not the general public.

Agree with @pat_moore about the fine print. That self-selecting group already cares, so their high engagement rate is a given. The real trick is getting that same attention from the casual visitor who stumbles onto your page.
