My Facebook ad campaign tanked because I ignored the 'learn more' button text

I run a small local bakery in Denver and been using Facebook ads to promote our weekend pastry boxes. Last month I spent $200 on a campaign and got like 3 orders. I was so frustrated. Then my friend who does marketing looked at it and pointed out my 'learn more' button text was just default. She swapped it to 'grab a box' and suddenly the same ad got 40 clicks in two days. Crazy how something so small makes that big a difference. Has anyone else had a stupid little detail ruin a whole ad spend?

Blame it on the default settings like they did you wrong on purpose.

Honestly yeah, I feel you. It's rough when the default stuff sets you up for failure before you even get a chance to figure things out.

Didn't @reese_hayes71 just make a post about this same default settings trap?
