My Google ads kept billing me for clicks on my own company name, wasted $600 before I caught it
I set up a search campaign for my tree service back in March and let it run on autopilot, and my cost per lead nearly doubled while my actual calls stayed flat. Turned out Google was charging me $4 to $7 a click for people who were already typing my business name after seeing my truck, which is about as dumb as paying someone to hand you a flyer you printed yourself. Do you all run a separate cheap brand campaign to block that, or just go negative and let the organic listing take it?
