Question about hitting 500 email subscribers from a paper signup sheet at the Cedar Rapids farmers market
I started collecting emails on a clipboard at my booth back in 2019, mostly as an excuse to get people to stop and chat. I finally crossed 500 names a few weeks ago, and about 40 percent of those folks open my monthly note, which beats the paid ads I ran for two seasons. Back when I started, I figured maybe 50 people would ever sign up, so this number snuck up on me. Has anyone here had better luck growing a list in person versus online?
