Hit my 100th swipe reject milestone and it changed my whole approach
So I've been on Hinge for about 4 months now and I hit 100 rejected likes the other day. That's not even counting matches that ghosted after 3 messages. It sounds dumb but seeing that number in my stats made me realize I was doing the same thing over and over. I was swiping on the same type of girl every time, the ones with the perfect gym pics and travel shots, and getting zero traction. Then out of nowhere I matched with a girl who had a blurry photo of her dog and a bio about her garden. We talked for 2 hours straight that night. Turns out being less picky about the profile and more about the actual conversation is where it's at. Has anyone else hit a weird milestone number that made them change tactics?
