I finally met a dating app match and it was a nightmare

We agreed to meet for coffee, but he showed up with his mom in tow. He let her order for him and she grilled me about my job and family. Who thinks bringing your parent on a first date is okay?

Cut the guy some slack, maybe his mom's approval is the real dealbreaker lol. Some families are just tight like that.

Respect family bonds even if they look different from the outside. Some people have a really close dynamic that's hard to explain. It's not always about having a weak spine.
