Matched with a guy whose profile said he was 28, but he showed up looking closer to 45
He said he 'forgot to update it' from when he first made the account three years ago. How do you even handle that level of dishonesty right from the start?

That "forgot to update it" line is such a wild excuse. It reminds me of a guy I knew who used his high school photo for everything, like a decade later. You'd see him in person and it was a completely different person, hairline and everything. It just sets such a weird tone, like you're starting off by pretending to be someone you're not.

Honestly, it's not always a red flag though. Sometimes people just hate taking pictures and that one decent photo is five years old. I used a blurry selfie for way too long because I never remember to get a new one.
