My sister told me ghosting is sometimes the safest option and I'm not sure what to think

She said after a date where a guy got pushy about coming to her place, she just blocked him everywhere. Part of me gets it, but another part thinks a clear 'no thanks' text is better. Where do you all stand on this?

Ever ghosted someone just to avoid the whole mess?

Honestly, I had a friend who had to change her number after a guy kept making new accounts to message her. Tbh, if someone ignores a clear no, blocking everywhere is the only move. It's not ghosting, it's putting up a wall they can't climb.

You know, I used to think ghosting was just rude. Then my friend had a guy who wouldn't take no for an answer, kept texting from new numbers after she said she wasn't interested. That's not a normal chat, that's scary. Sometimes a clean break is the only way to feel safe. What would you do if someone kept pushing after you said no?
