PSA: Stop swiping right on people who list "my dog is my whole world" and own zero photos
Took me three months of disasters to figure out the red flag. Matched with this guy in Columbus who swore he was a dog dad, first date he showed up with a cat leash and admitted his roommate had the dog. Another one in Cincinnati had a golden retriever in every pic but told me at dinner he was allergic and just used his ex's dog photos. I finally started asking for a current pic of them with the pet before meeting, weeded out like 80% of the fakes. Now I ask right after matching, saves me a whole night of bad small talk. Anyone else run into the fake pet photo scam? What do you do to screen for it?
