Serious question, I always thought a 'no hookups' bio line was a red flag for being uptight.

Then I saw a post where someone said they put it because they got tired of being asked for a threesome with a stranger's roommate before even meeting. Now I get it. Anyone else have a bio line they added after a specific bad experience?

It probably started with one guy who couldn't stop talking about his crypto portfolio on the first date, you know? I've seen that pattern a lot. My own bio used to have "please don't pitch me your business" after I got three dates in a row who spent the whole time trying to sell me something. It's a good filter honestly - saves everyone's time. If someone's that into crypto (or whatever) they're not going to be a good match for her anyway.

My cousin's profile used to say "must love dogs" but she changed it to "my dog comes first, always" after a date got mad she wouldn't cancel her vet appointment. Those little lines totally come from battle scars. I added "not here to guess your star sign" because I got so many openers that were just "what's your sign?" with nothing else. It filters out the low effort people pretty well.
