Swipe right on 1,000 profiles in one night and the only match I got was a bot selling crypto.
I did the math on my sad Friday and realized I hit 1,000 swipes before midnight with zero real conversations to show for it so is the algorithm just punishing me for having a profile picture taken at a bad angle.

Bad angle is a understatement honestly. Mine looks like I'm getting processed at the DMV with a flash that makes me look like a ghost who's seen better days. 1000 swipes and nothing is rough but maybe the algorithm just hates us both equally. At least the crypto bot probably has better lighting than we do.

My last tinder spree I actually read every single bio and it took me maybe 45 minutes to go through maybe 150 profiles tops. 1000 swipes is like speedrunning a video game, you're just mashing buttons. You gotta slow down and actually look at the photos and read the words people wrote. I found my last two dates by carefully checking profiles and sending a message about something specific in their bio, not just a generic hey. The algorithm rewards that kind of behavior anyway, people who swipe on everyone get shoved to the back of the line.
