Took 4 attempts to spot a fake profile, here's the clue I finally caught
Kept matching with this dude who had perfect photos but his answers felt scripted. On the 4th try I reverse searched one pic and found it on a stock site from 2019. Anyone else run into catfish that reuse old model shots?

Found the same trick works with those AI-generated faces too. I reverse searched a guy's pic that turned out to be from a dating app ad campaign in 2021, the profile was deleted by morning. Honestly the biggest red flag for me is when their replies are too polished and on point, real people stumble and send weird messages at 2am. I started asking for a specific photo like them holding up a piece of paper with my name on it, the fakes always make excuses. Saved me weeks of wasted chats, do that instead of just trusting pics.
