Three years ago I went on a date with someone I'd met at a coffee shop, and it definitely felt like stepping into a different era of getting to know each other. Sorry @the_tessa, but I think the comparison works more than it doesn't.

Three years ago I would've rolled my eyes at that comparison, but after seeing how awkward modern dating can be, yeah, I get it now... it's like a whole different language.
