Thought influencer marketing was a scam but a local bakery proved me wrong
I run a small online clothing shop in Austin and always figured paying influencers was just throwing money away. Then last month a friend of a friend who runs a bakery paid a local food blogger with like 8k followers to post one photo of her cupcakes. That one post brought in 40 new catering orders over two weeks. Not huge numbers but for a single photo that's wild. Now I'm wondering if I should try the same thing with a fashion blogger in my area. Anyone here had luck with micro influencers?

Micro influencers with real local followings can absolutely move the needle for small businesses.
